In California, people have been standing up to let their voices be heard about this inequity. But this weekend, peaceful protests are planned on City Halls across the country.Think back to where our country was 50 years ago on civil rights. History has shown us several lessons of where people have stood up in mass and demanded rights, and people have had to take notice.
Forty years ago, the men and women that stood up at Stonewall ushered in a new era of acceptance for all of us.   Now it's time for us to take it to the next level and show them that we won't be ignored or shamed back into the closets that we worked so hard to break out of. Let's don't let them use constitutions that are designed to protect our rights as a tool to strip them from us.

I don't remember feeling as passionate about anything in a long time. There are people celebrating that they took human rights away from us that that really pisses me off.  I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it any more.  Please join me in making a statement against this inequity.
